Australia Experience

I\'ve made this pictures only for our australian members, so is this realistic looking or not ? All the species in this exhibit, are nothing special for them, but for us europeans they are very, very special, so wombats can be found only in three european collections(two of them are in germany, yeah ! ) and swamp wallabies are very rare ,too. Only emus and red kangaroos are commom in europe too.

Windmills like this one are a pretty common site here in Australia. There's actually a game that families play when you're on a long trip and the first person to see a windmill says "windmill", and gets a point for it. (Now that I think about it, it doesn't sound as fun as it was as a kid )
And even in Australia common wombats are the less popular species. Especially with the major zoos who seem to favour southern hairy-nosed wombats.

I like the "Windmill"Game, funny thing. You can play the same game at Hannover Zoo with used cars. You see a car in the zoo and say"Car" and get points for it.There are so many cars at this zoo, enough, to get a lot of points....

Australia's not so green. And the road signs are, well, normally next to a road....

I did notice that as I was looking through the gallery. Even the chook shed has a beat up old VW.
