Is there a barrier keeping visitors back? If there is , viewing must be more complicated than in other comparable aviaries in which the visitor can typically approximate the mesh.If not, there is surprisingly little wear on the grass, unless few visitors pass through this area.Just wondering.
No, you can walk right up to the mesh. It's only a little local bird garden as you find in many small towns and villages in this part of Germany, and is basically in the garden of a Beer Garden/Restaurant. This was the only one of these parks we went to that charged entry (though only a couple of euros), but there were quite a few walking round. It's basically has the feel of someone's private collection on display.
