aviaries

The Te Anau Wildlife Centre is a small free-entry DoC-run facility, mostly housing rehabilitated birds I gather, although there are also takahe there.

These aviaries are part of a group of four, one (on left) housing NZ pigeons, two for South Island kaka (on right), and one for Antipodes Island parakeets.
