Like Pygmy Goats, Call Ducks are cheap & cheerful. There's always a temptation to pad out a collection with domestics.
There is a Marbled Teal in this picture as well.
Many times I have seen collections of exotic waterfowl slowly dwindle until either the existing 'domestics' kind of take over, or some are deliberately added as the less expensive replacement.
