Daubentonia madagascariensis. One of the young aye-ayes, with an adult (obscured by the youngster's tail).
Twilight World. Taken during the dark period, so apologies for the poor quality - I really couldn't see what I was trying to focus on, so it was 90% guesswork and this was about the best shot I managed.
Thanks @zootiger! This was my first visit to Bristol for many years, and I wasn't quite prepared for just how dark it was going to be in Twilight World (despite having read the associated ZC forum thread)!
I'm planning a return trip there soon, hopefully to make some better shots of the aye-ayes et al., and to see the parts of the zoo which I missed on this half-day visit.
In the rest of Europe, they are only kept at Zoo Frankfurt [they were kept at Zoo Berlin as well, but looking at Zootierliste they appear to have left/died? sometime this year].

The male died, the female, the first breeding female from Bristol and mother of the breeding female at Frankfurt, was send to Frankfurt-now the only german zoos with them. They have now 3.3, but only two on Display in the Nocturnal Section of the Grzimekhouse.
