I don\'t know whether this is the father or his hand-reared son, Twilight World (during the \'twilight\' period in the morning), Bristol, 18th July 2009
Look at the EXIF data, my D300 has quite good performance at high ISO settings and I took a tip from a Bristol thread and got up early enough to visit the zoo before the lights were turned out completely in the Twilight World (the time of the exposure is in GMT not BST as I'm too lazy to change it) - although the aye aye enclosures were still pretty dark.
At f2.8 and 1/4 second exposure, any other animal would be just a blur!
Brilliant shot!
Did you use a tripod, or brace the camera against anything that came to hand?

Braced against the glass - with a rubber lenshood: I use that technique a lot (I get a lot of blurred images too, but no-one else ever sees them ).
The auto colour temperature setting was thrown by the strange lighting, so I have altered the colours by eye to the way I perceived them, but that is not very reliable - I should perhaps have reduced the colour saturation too to give greyer image.
Bristol Zoo opens at 9 am, but the lights are still on in the Twilight World at this time. They are dimmed from about 9.30 to 9.50 (I don't know if these times are fixed throughout the year or whether they vary a little to provide artificial seasons). The EXIF data shows that this photo was taken at about 9.45 BST. I have never seen the aye-ayes active until the lighting was pretty dim, but there are other nice things to photograph like sand cats and kowari if they don't oblige.
