One interesting aspect of the Greater Vancouver Zoo is that there is a steady stream of babies constantly emerging into the world. In the past 10 months there have been these babies born: a ring-tailed lemur, a mara, at least 3 peccaries, about 10 Eurasian wild boar, 2 addax, 3 scimitar-horned oryx, a nilgai, 3 bighorn sheep, at least 3 white-tailed deer, 2 aoudad, 3 alpine ibex, at least 3 sika deer, 3 red-necked wallabies and about 4 bison.
