These baby raccoons came from a feral raccoon nest found in a lowered ceiling in Wallonia. The babies were brought to Pairi Daiza to be raised and later added to the raccoon group at Pairi Daiza. The raccoon is an invasive alien species in Belgium and much of Europe.
