Exotic hoofstock abound in this Children's Zoo nursery at any given time. Along with the Steenbok, Royal Antelope and Red-flanked Duiker seen here, I also noticed Gerenuk and Speke's Gazelle youngsters as well.
Steenbok seem to be a rarer animal in US zoos now a days. Are they on some sort of species management program or the interest in them has just died out?
