P P Pertinax 28 Jun 2014 Very showy. Weavers( of any sort) seem much less common in Aviaries than they used to be. Since imports were prohibited any more, and they aren't very frequently bred (compared to some other species). But they seem very long-lived for Finches.

Parrotsandrew 30 Jun 2014 Sewerby had a Black-headed Weaver that lived in this aviary for well over twenty years.
