Bactrian Camel Exhibit

A view of the Bactrian Camel Exhibit, part of the zoo's new permanent exhibit, 'Walkabout Australia.'
Two questions:
  1. Are the camels new to the zoo?
  2. Are the bactrian camels wild? If so, I presume they will be taking part in the SSP, which is appreciated.

Question #1: While the zoo has cared for Dromedary Camels in the past, yes, these two Bactrian Camels are new to the zoo.
Question #2: I cannot determine whether or not they're wild or domesticated Bactrian Camels, but if I had to guess based on their physique, I would guess domestic.
