These are relatively common in Japanese Aquariums. I've seen them in Toba and Sunshine. I also heard they are also kept at Otaru Aquarium, and there may be more facilities that house them!
@Dr. Wolverine Lake Biwa Museum has a single individual. I believe I've heard of somewhere in Hokkaido keeping them too but can't remember which facility.
