Probably the best part of my visit today was wandering around the garden trails for about an hour. There were barely any visitors, and I got to see some cool birds (hooded oriole, California towhee, hummingbirds). I also spotted a western skink. Of course, I enjoyed the large cacti display too! But it was such a great spot for wildlife of all kinds.
