Bamboo Trail - Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit

August 6th, 2010.
@snow: This looks very nice. This species often seems to get stuck in cages or small islands. IS this your favorite ring-tailed lemur exhibit?

Nashville Zoo is very small and can be seen in a relatively short period of time, but there are so many outstanding exhibits there that it is well worth anyone touring. The Reptile House is excellent and one of the best in America, and of course habitats for giraffes, elephants, alligators, meerkats, tigers, lemurs, clouded leopards, tapirs, gibbons, etc, are all extremely impressive and amongst the best of their kind. Even the kiddie playground is probably the biggest and best I've ever seen. I guess that is what happens when a zoo uses modern exhibit technology and is only 15 years old!

You bring up a good point about this lemur exhibit, and one day I'll have to sit down and analyze all of the top-notch lemur habitats in zoos that I've seen to come up with my favourites. In the case of some of the enclosures along the Bamboo Trail they are disguised cleverly and are not as large as they seem, but an air of lushness is certainly apparent.
