Goddamn, I remember when they still had this animal. It was genuinely so cool seeing a sea snake relatively often. I really wish they could get one back, as I know they’re extremely rare in captivity.
@Zoological Point I am not 100% sure as to the when, but I started volunteering there in 2020 right around when they did the refresh of the Tropical Pacific gallery (aka the special event exhibit that got interrupted by COVID). As far as I know the sea snake was gone before then. I believe the current occupant of the same tank is some flashlight fish (it’s been heavily changed).
