Sadly, Bantu died on July 6,2016 from a heart attack while sedated. He was to be moved to Guadalajara zoo to mate with Faustina a female gorilla who lives there. bantu was almost 25 years old. He was born at chapultepec zoo and was our the gorilla in mexico city zoo.
