Thanks! Yes, the (late afternoon) light was lovely. It was quite tricky shooting towards the other lake from this position (there's a lake to each side of the road at this point), as the shadows were more problematic in that direction; but I was able to get a few nice shots of a couple of the deer as they'd wandered across the road and into this one.
