Baton Rouge Zoo - Jaguar Exhibit

Aug. 9th, 2010.
This exhibit is not the greatest in North America (see Woodland Park and Jacksonville for that accolade) but it is actually an okay size for the species. A black jaguar can be seen resting on the rockwork in almost the direct center of the enclosure, and one major flaw is that visitors are not able to get close to the big cats as they can in habitats with glass-fronted sections.
