I looked back at my review from 2010 and I had Sumatran Tiger as the species, but I also recall a white Bengal (generic) Tiger being rotated on exhibit and I seem to remember that animal being in the enclosure during my visit. That would explain the title of the photo, and Montgomery Zoo is a neat little zoo that has had 4 of its 5 continental areas built since 1991. Having said that there has not been much progress in recent years and the facility recently made the decision to drop out of AZA. I'd love to know the exact reason(s) why!

Thanks for the reply. Every now and then I'll go through a phase where I try and find out as much as possible about a particular zoo. Today was a Montgomery Zoo kind of day so I was pleased to see you had uploaded a set of photos when I opened the gallery. I guess I should thank you for that too.
It looks like a nice zoo. Is there some sort of fee to be a part of the AZA? It does seem like a strange decision to not want to be a part of it, especially for what looks like quite a large zoo.
