Bennett's wallabies at Combe Martin Wildlife Park, 10 June 2005

I petted innumerable tame wallabies at wildlife parks all over Australia, and this photo brings back many joyful memories. Huge paddock for an easygoing, easily tamed marsupial species.

This was a nice-sized paddock with a fairly steep bank in the middle. If I remember rightly, the wallabies were free to roam out of the paddock and onto the path if they wanted to. As you say, they can be tamed and these certainly weren't afraid to come over and say hello!! :)
