According to the Tierpark Berlin guidebook for 2007 by Bernard Blaskiewitz there were 4 species in the crocodile house, alligator mississippiensis, alligator sinensis, osteolaemus tetraspis and tomistoma schleneli. Of course, 12 years earlier the species may have varied, so the options remain open.

Unfortunately it is too far making a precise identification, but according to this photo and the exhibited crocodilian species at that time by the zoo, it seems to me a Crocodylus niloticus or a C. acutus.
according to the guide from 1995 they kept, false gharial, saltwater crocodile, American crocodile (C. acutus), 2 species of alligator, 2 species of caiman and dwarf crocodile. But the one on the photo is a Crocodilus acutus.
I have now had at least two users whose contributions carry great weight around here, one of whom suggests C. acutus as one of two options and the other is certain about it, so for now, I'll name this photo accordingly.
