This is the very old pig house in Berlin Zoo. Here lives babirussas, red river hogs, bearded pigs and peccaries. The ''cages'' in the house are very old, and they really need a renovation and an expansion.

Although Berlin Zoo is one of the very few zoos abroad that I have visited, and I am not totally sure, I would imagine that the animals also have outdoor enclosures? Right?
Yes, of course they do have outdoor exhibits. The Bearded pigs are not in the Pighouse, they have an own stable, which is not open to the public. This house is the only pig house in the world, which is open to the visitors. Before they moved to the new hippo house, the warthogs lived in this house also.
