As a cat fanatic I find it disappointing their new exhibits are not much better than these decades old exhibits. The brand new exhibits for Amur leopard, snow leopard, puma seem to me to be the same size as their old exhibits, which IMO are not big enough. The interiors are functional, with climbing logs and mock rock caves, but are by no means spectacular. It will be interesting to see if the African leopard exhibit in Africa Rocks will follow the design of these (and if it will indeed house a genuine African subspecies as a local recently reported).
