The macaws have since moved to the new parrot aviaries (reconstructed old raptor aviaries) and the aviary was recently refurbished to house a variety of Estrildid finches. A new landscape decal graphic was also applied to the window since June 12th.
This has been changed to be more geographically accurate. Still houses zebra finches, double-barred finches, Gouldian finches, star finches and a single orange-breasted waxbill (forgot to catch this one?).
New species that have been added are diamond doves, painted finches, black-throated finches, plum-headed finches, and red-browed finches.
The scaly-breasted munias have moved to the outside aviary with Brahminy starlings and Edwards' pheasants, the long-tailed finches have moved to the swift parrot/blue-faced honeyeater aviary. The other species I don't know.
@Penshet Thank you for the update. I'm glad to hear they changed it to a more Australian theme. Sounds like a nice collection of small Australian birds.
