Bird ID Needed

Just looking through my Chester Zoo pics and found a few species that I\'ve still not ID\'d. So any help much appreciated.

FBBird is unfortunately incorrect; it is in fact a Madagascar fody (Foudia madagascariensis), and is indeed a female.

Bird ID

Sorry TLD, meant Madagascar. The heat must be affecting my brain -- i've worked with these things, & not even sure I've seen a Mauritius Fody. This is of course a male coming into colour.

There were others in the same aviary in full breeding plumage so does it make sense that some would be in full breeding plumage whereas others wouldn't be, at the same time?

If some were maturing juveniles, yes.
