It's old-fashioned but definitely not all well done. There are some attempted educational displays that are weird and confusing, and in some places the signage is confusing or absent. Unfortunately some of the taxidermy specimens are also showing their years and are not in great shape.
As far the public goes, from my experience most people seemed to either be interested or disinterested. I did not notice any negativity, but I have read some in internet comments.
Interesting, and thank you - finer details are difficult to tell from the pictures. Age of taxidermy is always a display issue. Very well known and respected collections have much on display that has faded to a uniform beige...
