The sheer size of these aviaries is incredibly impressive - collectively, they represent one of the finest displays of birds of prey that I have seen. The collection is good, but not as striking as that to be seen at, for example, Newent or Weyhill - but the housing is marvellous.
And what a svelte, sophisticated and stylish zoo nerd is to be seen in this picture....
