Yes, he wouldn't know what anything was. As I've said before, some people take photographs, some people know what things are. I'm not clever enough to take photographs.
Wish I could see the front of that Silver Pheasant hen -- might help me identify the pair.

Well I can ID most of what I can see in the picture, i.e., crowned pigeon (Victoria I think), nicobar pigeon, silver pheasant, javan tree duck, swans (can't see them properly to ID species) and black swan.
Not sure how I'm meant to know what things are if I don't see them and either find out what they are from ID signage or, where there is no ID signage or they are wild, try and ID them myself on the internet or where that fails get the very knowledgeable people on ZooChat such as yourself FBBird to ID them for me. That way I learn and I've learnt a lot from ZooChat. I'm not an ornothologist I'm just someone who loves animals and photography.
PS You don't have to be clever to take photographs.
Many more. This is only a small area by the entrance of the aviary. In either photo you might be able to make out a great argus under the bench. There is a pair of Chinese francolins in an enclosure by the entrance, and free-flying are lots of psittacines, bulbuls, leafbirds, barbets, pheasants, waterfowl, fruit doves, mouse deer, junglefowl, pigeons, mynahs, fairy bluebirds and turacos.
Devilfish, I know it's been asked already but do you have a more accurate species list? Or perhaps a photograph or two of the signage? It would also be great to see some additional shots of the occupants if you have any?
