The Birds of Prey aviaries are outstanding and feature Steller’s sea eagles, Andean condors, harpy eagles and ornate-hawk eagles. The condor in this photo helps to illustrate the size of its habitat, and the aviaries are really amongst the largest of their kind that I've ever seen. San Diego Zoo is most definitely a bird-lover's paradise and the enormous Owens and Scripps aviaries are regarded as two of the best on the planet, and there are birds around practically every corner of this establishment.
