The zoo has a series of odd-looking statues all in a row. May 24, 2019.

Looks like an entity from a particularly traumatizing nightmare.... Very weird sculpture to have in a zoo.

I googled this. They are Tanuki statues by Omaha-based artist Jun Kaneko.
