I agree that elephant shrews are fast critters that pose a challenge for photographers. I have however gotten lucky with them at Antwerp a few times in the past year and gotten a few nice shots. I guess besides a fair amount of luck the exhibit at Antwerp being pretty light and some experience in photographing moving critters have helped me get those shots.
