Black and White Ruffed Lemur

Seems this place seems decently funded with many newish exhibits, yet they dont seem to have anyone who knows what arboreal means... No climbing opportunities is weird for leopards and bobcats, but downright absurd for ruffed lemurs

I think that this is probably a repurposed exhibit, possibly intended for raccoons since it shares a house with the red pandas.

I think for the baboons, macaques, mandrills and patas monkeys that's probably fine. The golden monkeys have a huge amount of netting and that just leaves the capuchins which I agree need more (not sure how much those trees will grow).

@FunkyGibbon Im only talking about the arboreal species of course, so yeah capuchin, lemurs, snubnosed.. Netting while a plus really isnt a replacement for ropes, branches, and aerial platforms however, they cant rest anywhere they are adapted to feel safe from predators.

There are all of those things in the golden monkey exhibit. Not as much as you or I might like, but it's also a huge space and so in totality I think they probably have access to as much as would be in a smaller exhibit that we would consider pretty good.

@FunkyGibbon Fair point, I guess it just annoys when something as simple as some damn fire hose and sticks could improve an exhibit so much. Just seems like they did the expensive stuff without thinking of the lifestyle of the species and doing the cheap. That said the snub-nosed monkey exhibit is perfectly fine care wise.
