Having not seen the jackals since a winter visit in Feb 2015, I had begun to think they were a figment of my imagination :) - despite the signage remaining in the tunnel between the two older tiger enclosures throughout the intervening period.

So, I was delighted to glimpse three; of which I was able to badly photograph two (in my state of shock:p), late on in the day, despite their enclosure being very overgrown at this time of year.
 
Nice spot! We visited on Saturday 14th October, we saw the sign for jackals but I didn't realise they had any!
 
I haven't seen the Jackals since my first visit over 5 years ago, you were lucky! I must have made countless returns to that window on my subsequent dozen or so visits without success!
To see all 3 is an even rarer event I expect
