Scanned from a Kodachrome slide. The bushes behind these pens screened the boundary fence and Flag Lane. The summer of 1976 was unforgettably hot and dry. I had returned from working in Ghana a few weeks before I took this photo, and it took me a while to reacclimatise as July and August are relatively cool, wet months in West Africa!
