Black Bear Exhibit

It is interesting to note how in some Chinese zoos there are many bears together in a single exhibit. The same goes for tigers, with some enclosures having a half-dozen or more tigers together. It would be intriguing to know whether there is a lot of conflict amongst the animals or whether they quickly adapt to living in large groups.

I'm not sure if these are American Black Bears or Asian Black Bears, but it is worth noting that that the American Black is a social species and that more animals in an enclosure may be better.

@aardvark250 Do you know of any American black bears in Asia? There is at least one at Ragunan in Jakarta, but that's the only time I've ever seen them.

Leofoo village in Taiwan,Kobe Animal Kingdom,Fuji safari park,Akiyoshidai safari land and African Safari in Kyushu all claim to have Ursus americanus on their website.
