gentle lemur 5 Mar 2011 I agree. You only see grebes out of the water if they're on the nest or in flight. Alan
P P Pertinax 6 Mar 2011 Female Goosander. As Alan says above, Grebes can't perch like that, its a physical impossibility as their legs are set very far back on their bodies.
