There is a nice selection of native varanids at Sydney Zoo so it seems. I was surprised to visit Taronga a few years ago and realised they didn't have any varanids on display except for the Komodo.

@WhistlingKite24 Yes, they have 5 species, including both phases of Lace Monitor.
