Black kite isn´t a breeding bird in the Netherlands but turns up every year in small numbers. The Red kite has bred a few times in the Netherlands but surtainly isn´t a regulary breeding-species.
Pretty much the same with us as far as Black Kite is concerned. The Channel puts off a lot of migratory raptors. Red Kite is booming - maybe about 2000 pairs now!
