Is that mouse alive? Unless it's the only way the animal will eat, this is odd. As a keeper of reptiles, the practice of feeding live rodents is frowned upon bigtime. The rodents can cause injury to the feeding reptile.
Looking at the position of it's feet (and the fact there's a snake on top of it) I'd be inclined to think this is a dead mouse. Whether it was fed live is another question. There appear to be no obvious signs of injury (apart from the puncture marks). Possibly freshly gassed.
Are we sure this is a Black Mamba? The head appears truncated and the scalation looks off.
