Blotcheye soldierfish (Myripristis berndti)

They look visually similar to M. murdjan, which the easiest thing to look at to distinguish the two is to look at their lower jaw.

M. berndti have a slightly longer lower jaw that project further than the upper jaw, though a more reliable distinguishment is that this species have a yellowish to orange dorsal fin (According to Reef Life Survey).
