@Summer Tanager Yeah, apparently they've been there a while, but this was the first time I saw them out and about. It's that wooden aviary between the kangaroos and the ravens.
@Ggrarl Thank you for the location information! I haven't been to the Fort Worth Zoo in about 9 years so I'm sure that a lot has changed. From what I've seen on Zoo Chat, it looks like the Fort Worth Zoo has expanded their bird collection over the past 12 - 15 years and they have some very interesting and uncommon species now including Storm's Stork, Raggianna Bird of Paradise, Stella's and Blue-crowned Lorikeet, Green Peafowl, and Madagascar Crested Ibis. They've had a breeding group of Roseate Spoonbills for about 6 decades too. I'm overdue for a trip down there! Maybe this fall when it cools off. I saw Blue-crowned Lorikeets at the San Diego Zoo's off-exhibit breeding facility in early 2020 and my impression is that those birds might be the origin for the birds that are in U.S. Zoos currently.
