I don't know how long they live, but this one was at the zoo for several years, unless they kept dying & bringing another in.
ZTL lists Colchester as a current holder, but i haven't seen one for a while.

I have a feeling they did go through a few, and went out of the species entirely at the very start of 2011.
The ZTL listing refers to two females which arrived at Colchester a few months ago - October or November 2013 - from Zoo d'Asson, but which are being held offshow. I hope they eventually move onshow, as I have yet to see the species.
There are several records of blue duiker living around fourteen years.
Incidentally, I seldom had a good view of this animal at Colchester although on one of my visits, about a month before "ZooLeopard" took this photograph, a rabbit got into the duiker’s enclosure. The duiker appeared rather excited and spent a long while chasing it round; I’d never seen the duiker so active and it certainly provided the best view of it I’ve even seen.
