One of the few Honeyeater-species kept and bred in European zoos and one of only 2 for which I took care. Because most species come from Australia I'm afraid we won't see many more species in Europe or America.......
 
Yep, it looks like the only species of honey-eater easy to find in a zoo. A zookeeper friend of mine says that they're very aggresive with other birds.

What is the other species that you care for? Are you a kookeeper? (I need a job, that could be in a zoo hehehe)

Yep, so many australian animals are likely to be impossible to see outside Australia due to the strong restrictions...
