Of course. The only other chance would be a Grey Heron from Europe, but it would have the neck grey and white, without that purplish shadow. And look at its legs. It have not a plastic or metal ring, hence it's a wild bird, hence, being in North America, it only can be a Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias).
