Brilliant picture, Gentle Lemur! Any idea of age and where this one came from? I worked with a pair last year that had 4 off spring and am pretty sure one was meant to be going to chester.
Thank you. Chester have 3 (ISIS says 2.1) which are on display. They have had the species for several years now; they were kept with hyacinthine macaws in the past but they have been in their own aviary for a couple of years now.
Apparently they bullied the macaws and had to be removed. I remember seeing my first specimens at Chester in 1990 when they were so rare they were in the IZYB rare animal census. The female arrived last year and is the brightest coloured of the three.
