Any stats on the Bolivian blue-throateds at Santa Cruz Zoo?

Well the one on the left has scored 3 goals this season and the one on the right has an ERA of 2.75. Like most macaw species, certain individuals have a preference for baseball over football. :p

I am asking a serious question here and one can do without unnecessary self-indulgent jokes here. So if this question was Reto-Roman to you ..., just ignore it please. Thank you!

I rephrase it for the author: Any info on how many blue throated macaws they hold at Santa Cruz Zoo and if they are breeding at all?

BTW: the sign over the species is really promising! And I never knew Santa Cruz had a zoo, if I had known these few years back I surely would have spent at least part of the day there (travels Salar de Uyuni, Potosí ...).

At this point I was racing through the zoo in order not to miss my flight, but I only noticed three birds. I think last time (2010) more than eight were on display [I can check that at some point, if you like]. I didn't see any off-show but some could have still been held off-display. They breed well here, and Loro Parque Fundacion is one of the main sponsors of their breeding programme.

Santa Cruz's Zoo is a little gem for those looking for unusual animals, but conditions could/should be significantly improved. It's also very interesting for wildlife, with friendly free-roaming three-toed sloths, Bolivian squirrel monkeys and a few escapees. :)
This attractive city also hosts a renowned (or perhaps infamous) Saturday bird market, which I've never managed to get to.
