Reptile Building: Common Boa enclosure signage. January 14, 2018. The hall in this building is narrow and I only had my zoom lense with me so I couldn't get the whole space in the photo but the log shown is basically the entirety of the space this snake has. Even if the snake is removed every evening, it still just sits in one spot with little to no room for movement all day. I know boas aren't the most active animals but I still think this is a questionable exhibit-style, especially when one considers the behavior of the average zoo visitor. Thoughts?
