Yes,he was a real character, difficult to go to London Zoo presently as his loss is so tangible. I would dearly love to see the earlier shots of him at Bristol, I will have a look for those, cheers for that
Poor old(or rather- not so old) Bobby. I don't want to speak ill of the dead but this photo shows his oddly shaped appearance- as if his body wasn't big enough in proportion to his head, and his very short legs. But he had a nice face... A shame he didn't breed though as he was a wildcaught male and I'm sure any offspring would have grown normally.
