Does this female have a youngster or is she pregnant as her teats look big. I'm no expert on Bonobos nor I've never seen one. Which Bonobos are in the left hand side group?
This is the mother of the youngster in this group (I have posted a photo of her grooming/cleaning the infant). I don't know which bonobos are in each group, because Twycross have taken down all the labels which had the apes' photos and names - and I don't visit Twycross often enough to have learned their names previously. It's also rather difficult to see all the animals well when they are indoors as the enclosures are quite deep and tall, but rather dimly lit: this female was in a well-lit spot.
