The old male chimps Boris, Friday and Nicky all had minor surgery a few days before my visit. They were kept together, but separated from the other chimps to give them time to heal. As usual Boris was sitting quietly, watching the visitors with a dignified interest. As you can see he has had some work done on his left ear. Compare it with photo below from October 2020.
Why when I saw this post did I immediately think of Boris Johnson? I thought you were comparing the Chimp to him, if so then the plastic surgery is definitely an improvement. Either way Boris the Chimp is looking healthy and well!
